2025 OBHS Fall FBPA Concessions

It is time to raise some money for the ARTS!! Please sign up to help at the concession stand.  It’s fun and easy. The Friends of Berlin Arts is the non profit organization managing the concession stand. All proceeds benefit student performing art programs. We ask that all families of performing arts students sign up to volunteer for 2 shifts in the fall PLUS 2 shifts in the spring. Your volunteer time is crucial to the FBPA fundraising success! All students are welcome to sign up for a shift too!

End times are estimates; for most events it will be earlier, but we can’t give an exact end time for Friday football.

At this time no masks are required unless you want to.  We do require gloves and good sanitation. For instance, if you touch your cell phone, itch your nose, don’t touch food unless you sanitize-no one wants our cooties! Money takers are discouraged from also delivering food. We recommend long hair be tied back-no one wants our hair in the food-eww! If you are sick please call in, we will find a replacement.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Concession Leads

The concession lead manages the stand during events.  They are responsible to train new people, ensure food is being prepared at an appropriate intervals. Also in charge of money/safe.

Should be prepared during the week to show up 30 -45 min. before stand is supposed to be open.

Cashier- take orders and money. Note Olentangy employees can do this position. You are part of a booster organization when you are with concessions.

Treasury Lead– Ensure cashiers have small bills throughout shift, help count and verify money with FBPA treasurer at closing.

Runner– grab food and drinks for the cashiers

Food Prep– make hot dogs, pretzels and popcorn, and sandwiches

Make popcorn, pretzels, nachos, hot chocolate, ramen and restock candy
