Mrs. Wise

Ashley Brooks Wise is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to the Olentangy Berlin High School Choirs as their accompanist. A GRAMMY®-nominated musician, accomplished educator, and collaborative artist, Ashley is a dynamic force in the world of music and the performing arts.

Hailing from Jackson, Tennessee, Mrs. Wise earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Tennessee. Since moving to Columbus in 2005, she has become an integral part of the local music community, serving as an accompanist, instructor, and mentor to students and professionals alike.

Mrs. Wise’s experience extends far beyond the classroom. As the owner of Wise Notes, Ltd., she teaches private piano lessons and serves as a collaborative pianist, presenter, and talent coach across Central Ohio and beyond. Her family’s creative endeavors, including The Wise Channel on YouTube, have inspired audiences worldwide and contributed to the GRAMMY®-nominated album All One Tribe.

In addition to her work with the Olentangy Berlin Choirs, Mrs. Wise actively participates in the broader music education community. She serves as Vice President of Teacher Activities for the Ohio Music Teachers Association and is involved in various local and state-level organizations. Mrs. Wise’s dedication to fostering a sense of belonging extends to her role as co-founder of the Parent Diversity Network, Inc., a nonprofit supporting inclusive communities in schools and beyond.

Mrs. Wise’s passion for music stems from its ability to connect, inspire, and bring positivity to those around her. When she’s not performing or teaching, Mrs. Wise enjoys gardening, entertaining, and spending time with her husband, Ceylon, and their two sons.

Her work with the Olentangy Berlin Choirs exemplifies her commitment to excellence and her belief in the transformative power of the arts.
